From Start Line to Finish Line: Highpoint at the BCS Race Series

Apparel and Event Signage Across a Full Season of Community Racing

Turning Three Races into One Integrated Program

The BCS Race Series is a multi-event running program that brings the Bryan College Station community together across three races: Oktoberfest, the Turkey Trot, and the BCS Marathon & Half Marathon. Each event carries its own crowd, its own calendar, and its own product mix, and every runner who crosses the finish line expects to leave with gear that looks and feels the part. Producing branded apparel and event signage at this scale, across three separate races spread throughout the season, is not a single print job. It is a coordinated program that runs from the first order all the way through final on-site delivery. The series gave Highpoint the chance to show what a true full-service apparel and signage partner looks like when the work has to land perfectly three times in one season.

Large-Scale Apparel and Signage, Season Wide

The series unfolded as three distinct events, each managed as part of one cohesive program. Oktoberfest and the Turkey Trot each called for roughly 2,100 items, while the BCS Marathon & Half Marathon, the anchor event of the season, required approximately 6,500 items, bringing the full program to around 10,700 pieces of apparel. For every race, our team produced participant shirts and 1/4 zips for runners, along with volunteer shirts and hoodies to outfit the crews keeping each event on track.

On the signage side, each race received mesh finish line banners built to handle open-air conditions, plus directional signage to guide runners, volunteers, and spectators through the course. Each event arrived with its own timeline and quantities, so the program demanded careful sequencing, keeping three sets of deadlines moving at once without ever letting one race slip.

Showing Up, Not Just Shipping Out

What set this program apart was where our team stood when it mattered most: at the race itself. Highpoint didn’t simply produce the gear and drop-ship the boxes. We sent team members on-site to each event to hand out apparel directly to participants, managing distribution in real time as runners arrived and lines formed. That hands-on presence is the difference between a vendor and a partner, and it reflects the Customer First Approach that guides everything we do. We don’t measure a job by the moment it leaves our shop, we measure it by how it shows up for the client and their community.

The most fitting proof of that came at the starting line. Some of our team members didn’t just work the races, they ran them, lacing up alongside the very participants they had outfitted. It is one thing to print a shirt for an event. It is another to wear it, run in it, and stand shoulder to shoulder with the people you serve. For us, that is simply what showing up looks like.

What We Delivered for the BCS Race Series

Across the full series, our team produced and delivered a complete program of apparel and signage:

  • Participant Apparel: Branded participant shirts and 1/4 zips for runners at all three races, making up the bulk of the roughly 10,700-item program. Each piece was produced to carry the look of its individual event while holding a consistent standard of quality across the entire season.
  • Volunteer Apparel: Dedicated volunteer shirts and volunteer hoodies for the crews working each race, so the people directing runners, staffing aid stations, and managing the course were easy to spot.
  • Event Signage: Mesh finish line banners engineered to hold up in wind and weather, paired with directional signage to mark the course and guide foot traffic, fabricated fresh for each of the three events.

Providing Program-Level Apparel Capabilities

Across three races and a full season of community running, every BCS Race Series participant crossed a Highpoint finish line and left wearing Highpoint-produced gear. The program proved what our team does best: managing a complex, multi-event apparel and signage effort from production all the way through on-site fulfillment, without losing a beat between events. More than that, it showed how far we’ll go for the people we work with, far enough to run the race ourselves. From start line to finish line, the BCS Race Series is exactly the kind of program Highpoint is built to deliver.

Plan Your Next Event with Highpoint

Whether you are organizing a single marquee race, a full season series, or another large-scale event, the right apparel and signage partner can turn a complicated logistics puzzle into a predictable program. The same approach we brought to the BCS Race Series applies to tournaments, festivals, and multi-site corporate events: clear planning, coordinated production, and on-site support so your team can stay focused on the experience, not the boxes.

If you are planning an upcoming event and want to explore what it would take to outfit your participants, volunteers, and venues with consistent, high-quality gear, we would be glad to help you map out the path from first order to finish line. Reach out to start a conversation about your next event and let us build an apparel and signage program that shows up for your community from the first check in to the final celebration.
