AudioNova Case Study

Why the Right Partner Matters for Any Rebrand
A rebrand is one of the most exciting moments in a brand’s life. It is a chance to sharpen your story, refresh your look, and show customers what is next for your organization. Whether you are updating a single flagship location or rolling out a new identity across the country, signage is where that change becomes real in the physical world.
When you have a reliable signage partner, the process feels less like a juggling act and more like a well-run program. A strong team helps you translate brand standards into real signs, navigate local requirements, coordinate timelines, and keep each site on the same page so your team can stay focused on the bigger-picture strategy behind the rebrand.
That support is just as important for regional and local rebrands as it is for national rollouts. Even ten locations can mean ten different landlords, city codes, and existing conditions. The right partner brings structure to that complexity with consistent surveys, designs, approvals, and installation processes that scale up or down with your footprint.
Inside AudioNova’s 98-Location Rebrand
When AudioNova set out to roll out a new brand across its audiology clinics, they needed a team that could manage the details without losing sight of the overall vision. The program covered 98 clinics across 13 states, with each location carrying its own mix of building types, landlord requirements, and signage opportunities. Our role was to treat it as one unified rebrand, executed with location-by-location precision.
On the front end, that meant starting with the foundation: building an out-of-state installation network we could trust and completing surveys at each clinic so we understood existing conditions before any designs were finalized. With accurate field information in hand, our team moved into design and estimating, shaping sign packages that honored AudioNova’s new identity while working within each site’s constraints.
From there, we guided each clinic through customer, landlord, and property management approvals. Our permitting team coordinated submittals with local jurisdictions, while our project management group sequenced work so fabrication and installation could stay on track. For many sites, that also included the removal of existing signage to clear the way for the new brand.
In fabrication, we produced a mix of vinyl graphics, back-lit channel letters, front-lit channel letters, and updates to multi-tenant signs where AudioNova shared visibility with other tenants. Each package was built to align with the brand’s standards and to match the conditions uncovered during the survey phase. A dedicated project manager oversaw scheduling and installation for every market, supported by a custom accounting process that kept tracking and invoicing clear across all 98 locations.
The result was a coordinated rollout that brought AudioNova’s new look to life in clinics from state to state, without losing the local nuances that each site required.
What This Means for Your Next Rebrand
The AudioNova program is a clear example of what is possible when a rebrand is supported by a structured signage partner instead of one-off sign orders. The same approach works whether you are updating 20 branches in one state, refreshing a single campus, or planning a phased national rollout.
Clear surveys, thoughtful design, aligned approvals, coordinated fabrication, and well-managed installation turn a complex effort into a series of predictable steps. When decisions about logos, color, and messaging are connected to the realities of storefronts, monuments, interior spaces, and multi-tenant signs, your new identity shows up consistently wherever customers interact with your brand.
If you are considering a rebrand, it pays to bring signage into the conversation early instead of treating it as a last-mile task. A reliable partner can help you plan the program up front so the rollout feels intentional rather than reactive, with environmental graphics, exterior signs, and wayfinding working together as one cohesive system.
